VIVAnews - Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Darmin Nasution was surprised when BI was accused of designing Rp 100 billion bribe for the preparation of some draft bills including on Financial Services Authority.

Earlier, Chief of Bank Indonesia Employee Association, Agus Santoso, pointed out that BI allegedly bought off lawmakers to ease the passing of some draft bills into law.

Darmin claimed he and BI are not informed of the bribery issue ferried by one of the BI staff. According to Darmin, the bribery issue was a form of defamation and has in fact been discussed by the involved parties.
